Process NameDetailed Practices and RequirementsSingle-pass Usage (kg/m²)
Base Treatment1. Base strength: Not less than C20./
2. Base flatness: ≤ 5mm when measured with a 2m straightedge.
3. Base dryness: Surface moisture content of the substrate < 8%.
4. Repair hollowing and cracks on the ground in advance.
5. Fully grind the concrete substrate.
Primer Coat1. Use WEDO-0301: Mix the base paint and curing agent in the specified ratio and stir evenly.0.15 (Scratch) / 0.3 (Roller)
2. Apply evenly with a roller, or uniformly trowel with a trowel or iron plate.
3. Use a brush for application at door edges, corners and machine corners.
Mid-coat Mortar Layer1. Use WEDO-0302: Mix the base paint and curing agent in the specified ratio and stir evenly; add quartz sand (generally 80–120 mesh) at the recommended ratio of paint: quartz sand = 1: 0.2–1, and stir evenly.0.3–0.5
2. Trowel integrally with a trowel; the number of construction passes can be adjusted according to the actual situation.
3. Grind and remove dust after curing.
Putty Layer1. Use WEDO-0303: Mix the base paint and curing agent in the specified ratio and stir evenly; then add an appropriate amount of filler (quartz powder, talc powder, etc.) at the ratio of paint: filler = 1: 0.1–0.5, and stir evenly.0.1
2. Trowel evenly with a trowel, focusing on filling defects such as pinholes and air holes; the number of construction passes can be adjusted according to the actual situation.
3. Fully grind and remove dust after curing.
Topcoat LayerUse WEDO-0303: Mix the base paint and curing agent in the specified ratio and stir evenly. Apply evenly with a trowel, ensuring a uniform coating without sagging. Use a defoaming roller after re-coating.0.7–0.8
Anti-slip LayerUse C2203 ultra-wear-resistant microsphere topcoat as a sealer. Apply 3–4 times evenly with a roller until no obvious roller marks are visible.0.1
Sealer Layer (Optional)After the topcoat layer is dry, a sealer can be optionally used to improve the surface scratch resistance.0.1

Notes

  • The air humidity should be strictly controlled to be less than 80%. When the humidity is too high, problems such as loss of gloss, color bleeding, and color fading may occur.

  • The super wear-resistant micro-bead topcoat is a gloss layer. It must be applied on a surface layer with a certain thickness and the same color. If it is applied directly on the putty layer, it may cause oil shrinkage and cannot ensure good covering power and poor wear resistance, etc.

  • This product cannot be randomly added with thinner. Otherwise, it is prone to color bleeding problems.

  • When applying the super wear-resistant micro-bead topcoat, attention should be paid to controlling the amount. Different amounts will result in certain differences in gloss. The number of roller coats should not be less than three, until the overall amount is uniform and there are no obvious roller marks.

  • There will be slight joint marks during the micro-bead coating process. When doing large-scale construction, it is recommended to use the joint position as the joint point, which can effectively reduce the joint marks.

  • If there are special requirements for wear resistance, a water-based polyurethane gloss can be used to improve the hardness and scratch resistance of the paint film.

  • There is a certain color difference between different batches of materials. When applying in the same area, the same batch of materials should be used. When placing multiple orders for the same project, it is necessary to indicate to adjust the color according to the sample.

Construction conditions

  • Air temperature: 5℃ – 30℃

  • Relative humidity: < 80%

  • Moisture content on substrate surface: < 8%

  • The construction site should have good ventilation;

  • Dew point temperature: The substrate and uncurdled coating substrate must be 3℃ or more higher than the dew point temperature to reduce the risk of condensation or frosting on the floor coating.

  • Dirty floors need to be thoroughly cleaned; otherwise, it may affect the even application of the coating.
